Poll Everywhere, a popular web-based polling tool that UCI instructors have incorporated into their teaching for both on-campus and remote classes, is now available campus-wide as a centrally funded service.
Poll Everywhere offers flexible question types, UCI Canvas integration to sync rosters and graded activities, support for collaboration among instructional staff, and both synchronous and asynchronous activities. Students can respond to Poll Everywhere activities via any web-enabled device (laptop, phone, tablet) or even by text message with no need to purchase a dedicated remote or subscription. There is no cost to students; Poll Everywhere is now covered by a centralized campus license.
To get started, visit polleverywhere.com, select ‘Login’ and enter your campus email address. You’ll be prompted to login with your UCInetID and password and your account will automatically be created.

UCI instructors helped bring this tool to our campus by participating in a pilot program to test the service in their classes and provide invaluable feedback.
